Product Description
The patented* PegAssist insole has a 15mm combination Plastazote® and Multi-Foam base with a 3mm Poron® cover to provide cushioning that eliminates the incidence of ring edema and edge abrasion. Stabilizer board included to maintain product integrity.

Cleaning Instructions/Maintenance 
(Top layer only) When the PegAssist™ is slightly dirty, clean it with a damp cloth or a soft brush.
Allow the PegAssist™ to air dry only.
 
Instructions for use
Place a transparent barrier or dressing over the wound area.
With the barrier in place, circle the wound or ulcer on the patient foot with the supplied marker.
Remove the black insole from the shoe.
Insert the PQ PegAssist™ Insole into the shoe with the black peg side facing down.
Have the patient step onto the insole which will transfer the marking onto the top surface of the insole.
(Remove barrier)
6. Remove the insole from the shoe. Remove pegs beneath the marking to create the off-loading area.
Important: Remove the pegs slowly to avoid tearing the top layer of PORON®.
7.Remove the adhesive backing from the stabilizer board that is included in the kit.
8.Align and attach the adhesive side of the stabilizer board to the black peg side of the insole. 9.Insert the PQ PegAssist™ Insole back into the shoe with the stabilizer board facing down, blue side up. The shoe is now ready to be worn.
